First Class E-mail Client
This is a locally installed client (similar in appearance to Microsoft Outlook) for viewing and managing your personal web-based emails without some of the problems that are normally inherent with a web-based or 'hotmail' client. You can use either method without prejudice to the other.
The portal web client https://portal.theocn.net will still have to be used from within the establishment for maintenance of user accounts by the administrator, and when users need to change their passwords.
Ready-to-go installation packages for RM Connect Networks are available from this site:
- Log on as administrator at a network station.
- The downloaded file will self-extract automatically into the correct location on the server.

Important: Ensure that all stations have RM File Protector switched on. If not then you must set the properties of the following files in the package to 'Read-only'.
...\FirstClass\FCIC.fcd
...\FirstClass\Settings\home.fcOtherwise users will be able to change and resave their own settings to the local C drive, including their username and password. The next user would then be able to log on to the previous user's email account or not be able to log on at all if the connection settings have been deleted.
- You can now allocate the package to all stations and make the shortcut available to users in the usual way. (A shortcut can be found within the package folder.)
